A group of people are posing as employees of the Ministry of the Interior and using a clever approach and professional appearance to try to gain access to private households. The aim is to steal personal data and valuables.<\/p>\n<p><b>This is how the scam works<br \/>\n<\/b>The fraudsters, who are elegantly dressed, claim that they are conducting a census and checking whether each citizen has a valid ID.<br \/>\nThey demand to take photos or fingerprints of the residents and present a questionnaire asking for personal information.<br \/>\nDuring the conversation, they manage to search the households and steal valuables.<\/p>\n<p><b>Attention: There is no such government initiative!<br \/>\n<\/b>The Ministry of the Interior has not initiated any such measures. Stay alert and do not give out any personal information. Do not let anyone you do not know into your home.<\/p>\n<p><b>What can you do?<br \/>\n<\/b><b style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">Remain sceptical:<\/b><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\"> Do not be fooled by official documents or professional behaviour.<br \/>\n<\/span><b style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">Inform the police:<\/b><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\"> If you encounter these fraudsters, notify the authorities immediately.<br \/>\n<\/span><b style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">Warn others:<\/b><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\"> Share this information with your neighbours and friends to protect as many people as possible from the danger.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Benitatxell installs two speed cameras to reduce speeding.<\/span> Published: 29\/11\/2024.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The city council has installed these devices on Avenida Alicante and on the main road to Cumbre del Sol, near the Adelfas shopping centre, to reduce the speed of vehicles on road sections in urban areas where people drive recklessly.<\/p>\n<p>One of them, a mobile speed camera that can be moved to different locations, has been installed on Alicante Avenue, a pedestrianised street in the town centre where vehicles are obliged to drive at reduced speeds.<\/p>\n<p><b>The second, a fixed speed camera, has been installed on the Cumbre del Sol main road near the Adelfas shopping centre, a long main road where vehicles travel at high speeds. <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.avib.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/litzer-2.jpeg\"><b>Position: main road, direction Pepe la Sal<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This measure has also been taken in response to constant complaints about speeding. Areas like the main road of Cumbre del Sol are very problematic because vehicles travel too fast in residential areas.<br \/>\nWe have listened to the requests of residents and this measure responds to the concerns of residents and the Local Police, who have long been aware of the danger of speeding in various parts of the municipality,\u2019 said Councillor for Citizen Security, Mar\u00eda Jos\u00e9 Ivars.<\/p>\n<p>The speed cameras have been purchased thanks to a grant of 62,377.19 euros from the Diputaci\u00f3n de Alicante.
